The first addition to our family was a blue
merle puppy that came to us from a
wonderful breeder in Galesburg, Illinois by
the name of Kathy Agan (AFarm/Painted
Meadows). She took the time to find out
exactly what type of puppy would fit best in
our lives and we couldn't be more in love with
Boomer! He is on the larger size for a mini,
measuring approximately 18.5" tall and
weighing 37 pounds.

We had heard that once you get hooked, you
can't have just one ... well, it's true!
Within a few months we realized that we had
room in our hearts and home for another
puppy and found our second mini, "Molly".
She is a red tri that came to us from Gay
Lynn Horst, a breeder in Troy, Missouri.
Molly is approximately 16 inches tall and
weighs 25 pounds.

Both of our dogs are NSDR and MASCA registered. They have been CERF and OFA cleared. Boomer was first exposed
to herding at the 2005 Miniature Australian Shepherd National Dog Show in Columbus, Ohio. It was the first time he
had ever seen sheep, but he herded like a pro, earning his Herding Instinct Certificate (mHIC) !!
